Aircraft Doors not Opening

Featured Replies

Since installing Wing Views for my Projet Fokker I've found that none of my aircraft doors will not open in respose to Shift + E? I've tried assigning other keys but without succes. Perhaps I should mention that the problem may not be due to the Wing Views; although I noticed the fault just after I installed them.I would appreciate any help to resolve this problem.KenSomerset, England

Hi Ken,Are you referring to the ProjectFokker F100 V2 ??If so:The F100 has only one (cabin)door, coupled to Exit-1.Exit-2 (Shift-E 2) opens the engine covers. And that works perfect on this aircraft; at least, on the original installation. Now, to establish your problem:When you hit the key you assigned to the "Select Exit" function, do you get the message "Main Exit opening..." ?? (provided you haven't disabled those FS screen messages). And does that work OK for other (default) aircraft ??Because I cannot imagine how an addon like WingViews (which download file is that ??) can block such an FS command, other than a gauge that deliberatly "intercepts" the keystroke for "Select Exit"..Rob

Hello Rob,Nice to hear from you again.None of my aircraft would respond to Shift + E that included the default ones. However, you 'hit the spot' dead on by referring to "Select Exit"; I must have scrollod by that a dozen times not realising that was the Assignment I needed. I have just enbled that assignment and now door opening is fully operational. Many thanks for your help.KenSomerset, England
