Running the fixer just to fix OOM errors?

i really like how dx9 runs so smooth and without any glitches.

 

But when I set my LOD higher than 7.5 I get OOM errors. Will running the dx10 fixer without any special dx10 effects enabled help the problem? I am not interested in any shadows or bloom with dx10. Thanks.
