Something for PMDG to Chew On

I was just reading over at Aviation Week that Boeing and Airbus are beginning to delve into the synthetic vision arena with the somewhat tentative "goal" of incorporating SVS into the cockpit starting with new-build aircraft around 2020. That should give the devs some time to mull this one over and see how this might be included in whatever sim we might be using five years from now. I know it's down the road a piece, but it never hurts to start scratching out some thoughts/possible technical approaches to the topic.
