Haven't seen this mentioned anywhere; it was news to me (but maybe I am the last one to discover this):

 

If you enable HDR in the settings, then save a flight, then decide to disable HDR again and reload that saved flight it will _still_ have HDR enabled for all the views that you used with the HDR setting on. If you take a look at the flight.xml you will see a postprocess tag for HDR within those views. Same goes for FXAA and (I guess) for any other enhancements defined by means of postprocessing. 

 

Something to keep in mind when you're tinkering around with settings to get the best performance.
