NOT The MacRobertson Air Race 2005

Featured Replies

Thanks to everyone who took part in the race this year. To answer the question a few have asked, yes there will be a race in 2006.Thankyou as well to those of you who kept in touch with us through the forum, it was good to know we were not alone :-)The winner of the race was Steven Rapp (I am sure he would appreciate his "name in lights" on the forum). There are three more flights being prepared, the first of which will be the Powder Puff Derby (actually lasted for 8 days so we won't fly every leg). I can't give you a date for the "Puff" because the MacRobertson Race took about 1 month to prepare so I have no idea how much more work needs to be done on this one. I will let you all know when the date for the "Puff" draws near but in the meantime please feel free to drop me an email by going to the website and clicking on the "Contact" link. Entrys are already coming in but there is no limit on numbers of course, in fact the more the better.Andrew Brownhttp://www.gordiusfs.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/

Andrew, next year, can I suggest a separate forum prior to and during the race, as we did with the RTW race earlier this year? It might help to get the rules published, in race news, images, etc. Just give us a week or two notice before you want to commence and we can have it set up in a heartbeat.
