May 22, 201511 yr Well, my second ZOTAC GTX 980 arrived today so that I can start on SLI with P3D. Unboxed it, and it had no SLI bridle in the box. Of course I pitched the one from the first 980 I bought because we wouldn't have P3D SLI in our lifetimes. Can't believe it. Searched through four boxes of old cables , three old MB boxes and two large boxes of AC adapters that I have and I found two sets of Palm software if anyone needs it Bottom line, I managed to find an ASUS SLI bridle from a couple of years ago. They physically fit - are the pinouts compatible and a standard part of the spec from major manufacturer to the next? I still just can't believe it. Jeff Callender Jeff Callender
May 22, 201511 yr The SLI Bridge connector you mean? I think you are fine. You will get a pop up alert if the two cards aren't bridged. I think I'm using one that came with my mobo too.
May 23, 201511 yr Author Great, thanks. I suspect they are compatible..Just don't want to lose the magic blue smoke in $1100 worth of vid cards. Jeff Jeff Callender
