Are there fictional / ultralarge planes for FS9 to DL ?

Featured Replies

Im looking for self made fictional airplanes for FS9.Like a giant freighter with 10 engis...or an ultralarge sailplane and stuff like that.thanks

Search using google and the search terms "Unreal Aviation" and FS2004. Quite a few interesting fictional designes come from Unreal, although I don't recall anything like a giant freighter or sailplane. William Ortis (Lionheart Creations) also produces some outstanding fictional designs.-John

There's the 'Fireflashairterrainean.zip' in the library....based on the Fireflash airliner from the original 60's Thunderbirds...she's big! Flies at 3 times the speed of sound, at 60,000ft and the cockpit is in the tail, with the pilot's view looking forward along the fusalage! Two huge banks of engines are in 'pods' above you at the top of the tailplane. The aircraft is well modelled, looks nice, and if you download the suggested panel for it, she goes like a bomb!! Take of is quite breath-taking! It's an interesting flight model that requires you to monitor her systems and make smooth changes, otherwise she'll lose stability fast, but if you trreat her right, she'll get you to where you want to go....bloody fast!!
