I am getting an error saying the format of the URI could not be determined.

I just downloaded the program from http://forum.avsim.net/topic/461998-download-latest-version-of-slx-here-works-with-fsxse-and-prepar3d-v25/ and I can't even get to the menu or check for update.

Please send me an e-mail (my e-mail address can be found on the front page of the user guide) or a PM and I will send you a link to the latest version. As a workaround for the problem, you can also temporarily change your Internet Explorer home page to something that starts with http:\\www.
