Pocket pc users-cool cheap add on!

Featured Replies

I stumbled across this cool new program for a pocket pc:http://www.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=18675It makes windows treat your pocket pc in the cradle like another monitor! Very cool-I slid my reality-xp gps on it-it is about the same size as a real one( alittle smaller)-but best-you can touch the controls with your fingers and the touch screen responds! The utility is only $14.95 and you can download a trial.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/122356.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/122357.jpghttp://mywebpages.comcast.net/geofa/pages/rxp-pilot.jpg

WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE-the best Flight Sim!

That looks awesome! I, too, have a VGA PPC and thought about doing exactly what you've done with Innobec's recent release.I have one question, though. As I'm usually a "full screen" flyer, is there any way to switch to "windowed" mode, undock the RXP gauge, drag it to the my second monitor (which in this case is the PocketPC), then go back to full screen in FS9? Is that even possible?Anyway, again, thanks for the info on this little gem!

Or, as I imagine you are already aware, but, just in case, check out http://www.pocketfms.com. They offer a freeware gps program that integrates very nicely with FS and your real flying for that matter if you don't have the cash to shell out for a panel mount GPS (like me). I have been using it for quite a while now, and the latest version has added some nice features.I had a problem for a little while with it working with my iPAQ 3835 with a SD card, but the latest version fixes that problem. It is actually donationware for $50. Now that it works on my PPC, I'll be paying as soon as I get some free cash.Be very careful to follow the directions exactly when hooking into FS or you may experience problems connecting, but it works every time now for me.Thanks for the link,Thomas
