Differential brakes

When I uses the differential brakes, and hit F12, the screen basically stops and moves at 1 FPS. Not a big problem but was wondering if anyone else has noticed this?JimCYWG

Something tugging at my memory here, can't be sure, but I think F12 is one of those keys that shouldn't be used in FS. Every time I have ever hit it, it did absolutely nothing, or I crashed to desktop.Cheers,Bob

While in FS, click the following: Help/Learning Centre/"K"/Complete List of/Key Commands and you'll be presented with everything you need to know about using the keyboard. You'll also see that F11 and F12 are indeed used for differential braking.I suspect that the problem isn't FS-specific at all, but an assignment of the F12 key for a totally unrelated action in another program, perhaps Windows itself, as there are key commands for accents on letters of foreign languages, for example. Whatever the 'other' assignment, it likely runs in the background, probably not even noticeable until FS is functioning and the brake action is called up. A review of Windows options and /or setup plus possible additional programs requiring specific key assignments would be my next step in determining the source of this problem.
