Error 1628 787

After a lot of contemplation I finally bought the Aerosim 787, and I've run into an error before it's even gotten into FSX. I'm not able to install it. Each time I run the installer it gets to where it starts installing and then it says the IDriver module has failed and that the installation has failed as well. I've contacted the developer directly via email but I've also seen several threads here on it that have gone unanswered, what is the solution to this problem? 

I'm running Windows 8.1 (64 bit) and I've tried the following; Running the installer with Administrator User Account, Playing with various compatibility settings (such as xp, vista and 7), running as an administrator each time, cleaning the registry, ending the IDriver.exe process, and deleting the Local/Temp files.
