  1. After a lot of contemplation I finally bought the Aerosim 787, and I've run into an error before it's even gotten into FSX. I'm not able to install it. Each time I run the installer it gets to where it starts installing and then it says the IDriver module has failed and that the installation has failed as well. I've contacted the developer directly via email but I've also seen several threads here on it that have gone unanswered, what is the solution to this problem? I'm running Windows 8.1 (64 bit) and I've tried the following; Running the installer with Administrator User Account, Playing with various compatibility settings (such as xp, vista and 7), running as an administrator each time, cleaning the registry, ending the IDriver.exe process, and deleting the Local/Temp files. Thanks in advance
  2. You're more than likely right, I've been known to not know what it is exactly that I'm doing. But what I did find, which was rather peculiar was that after turning the flight test package, as the gent spoke of earlier, it actually flapped along in the wind and then when turned off, it remained completely still which is why I guessed that it was a bug. But either way, it's a fantastic product that I'm happy to have purchased. Thanks a bunch for your contributions. And here I was trying to play with the packs and the recirc fans to get the engines started. might not want to let the passengers see that though
  3. It still didn't go away which means it's a product issue, I've gone ahead and started a ticket directly with PMDG. Thanks for the help guys!
  4. Haha, yea I guess so but I don't think my passengers will be very happy to know that
  5. Not able to find the option to turn it off, but at least now I know what it is, thank you.
  6. I guess this place is as good as any. I have my 777 with something hanging from the tail wing and although I don't use the external view much, I like to take pictures in flight and I'd rather not have whatever it is hanging from my tail wing all unrealistic like, it takes away from the immersion! Anyways folks, whatever you think this might be your help is greatly appreciated. PS that pretty little island there that the plane is about to cross is San Clemente Island off the coast of California. Because Learning is fun!
  7. +1 I've gotten a lot of criticism for the time that I spend flying this aircraft. I had no idea how realistic it was. Clearly, money and time very well spent. Thank you sir.
  8. I wasn't aware of V2 but that sounds pretty sweet. Right now though I'm absolutely fascinated with the 777. Recently, my virtual airline pilot career has consisted 90% of long haul flights longer than 12 hours. PMDG is stable enough to do it and I absolutely love it. Gets a little boring occasionally though.
