Using P3D version 2.5 with hotfix 4 ( I believe the latest )

 

I've noticed an annoying issue about sky textures. Mine setup is all default except some addon airports, planes and Pro atc. I haven't got anything about sky replacement programs.

 

When flying at dusk and dawn and looking around, the sky colors are changing instantly.

 

I post 2 images to show the difference.

Of course there will be change of sky colors but I think it's more than usual.

 

What do you think about it? Is it normal and I'm thinking wrong?

What are using for a weather engine ?

Nothing. I'm just setting the weather in P3D startup screen

Then you either need to set additional visibility layers, or a visibility limit. Haven't used P3D settings since 1.4 days, but I think you can create graduated levels at will.

 

I suspect that most will simply advise to use a more sophisticated weather engine - you could even try freeware to see of this overcomes the limitations.
