Elevator sensitivity change after installing 2.5

Recommended Posts

Not sure if this is the right forum to address this topic.- I finally decided to install v2.5 a few days ago; I delayed a good deal of time because I was happy with 2.4. I uninstalled P3D and all the associated files, then did a complete install of 2.5. Everything went smooth and without apparent problems. I reset and calibrated my Saltek yoke, throttle quadrant and rudder panels. Before I started installing my scenery and aircraft addons, I did a flew flights with the the default Baron, and noticed that the elevator control was hyper sensitive. The slightest pressure back or forward on the yoke pulls the plane violently up or down. Then I tried the default A36 Bonanza: same problem. I installed the A2A Cherokee and Comanche and then the RealAir B60V2 Duke: same with all of them. I went into the control settings and saw that elevator sensitivity was set in about the middle. I lowered it, eventually all the way down to the minimum setting of 1. I think it might have helped a little, but still too sensitive, certainly nothing like I had experienced with the previous P3D2 versions.

Anyone have any suggestions?

"Saitek Sensitivity and FSUIPC"

If you are using FSUIPC then do a topic search for the above. The replies in the thread may shed light on your problem and yield some clues to assist you.

Thanks David for the suggeston. I went to the FSUIPC Peter Dowson forum and did find the answer to the problem. Others have experienced this problem in Saitek equipment, and it wasn't a sensitivity problem; it was is an axis that only seems to have two values: nul and maximum. Was directed to a Saitek thread that had the answer, which entailed going into Windows and deleting a corruputed folder. Then restarting P3D. It worked like magic! Thanks for the help
