September 12, 201510 yr Hi! This great forum answered my question a few days ago by fine simmers. But I've got another one, as I'm still a rookie at the PMDG. I'm flying from EKCH to ENVA, and on decent, the FMC tells me that after waypoint GIGNI which have the designated altitude of FL384, I need to be at 10000A at VEVOD. Thats the waypoint right after GIGNI. The following waypoints are at alt: 7000A and 6000A and then after 6000A it goes to 11086. The FMC haven't said anything about it, and it must therefore be ok, but it doesn't make any sense in my head. How can this be? thank you in advance ! Christian Jensen - AKA The Rookie Pilot

Christian Jensen - AKA The Rookie Pilot The "A" means at or above. The 11086 is a prediction where the path with cross that point. No problem. You'll "at or above" those other points, not less than 7000. If you want to see where the path will be, temporarily delete the restriction, and it'll show you the altitude you'll really cross at. i.e. The box says 7000A, but you'll really be at 15,501 or something.
