September 13, 201510 yr Hi all, I recall previously struggling to find a happy medium for the CH Products Throttle Quadrant to work with NGX but I did get it right to a point that I was happy with it. The reverse detent worked to a point and I assigned a button on the quadrant to take reverse all the way (F2). At the idle detent, I was on idle and the levers moved forward from there to max nicely in relation the CH Products levers. They also moved back into reverse to a point from where holding a button took them all the way. I could then come back to idle by moving the throttles back into the detent. I have recently reinstalled FSX and all is good BUT I have been struggling to again get a decent range of movement on the throttles like I had previously. After fiddling for more than an hour in FSUIPC with the NGX on the tarmac (miraculously the sim did not crash as I was in and out of the menu at least 50 times and with no uiautomation.dll installed), I still have levers jittering and jumping and not responding well at all. Can anyone share their settings? Do you select the nThrottle checkbox and/or filter checkbox? I presume I should be sending the command thru FSUIPC [direct] and not thru FSX? I do know how to assign the axis to the throttle first and also how to use the three buttons for min, max and reverse. I also deleted all assignments in FSX control menu to prevent conflicts in FSUIPC. Clearly I have forgotten something though as I am not winning. I do not like running the throttles thru FSX axis only as the reverse detent then sits right around where taxi power setting is and makes fine setting around this position more difficult. Thanks for any tips.
