Firstly, the avatar thing is very cool.

 

I haven't installed anything 3rd party yet, as I want to follow correct procedure. I don't want to break the sim quite yet. 

 

I have noticed that the CPU loading appears to be more even throughout each core. I'm running a 4790k with HT off. I have also noticed that the GPU usage has skyrocketed. On the default flight, my GPU usage is at 90% and above on a standard day with few clouds. I'll do more investigating to see what is causing such a high GPU load. 

 

Other than that, I'd say that the performance is about the same overall. Mind you, this is with no fooling around with the .cfg and the same settings i used in 2.5. Will report back later.
