can't explain this guys home built simulator,
every time i watch videos from him; im just stunned; i cant tell what he's got going there,
but he's got one heck of immersion going like Ive never seen before;

enough with words; just watch for yourself,

Pat's P47 Thunderbolt

If I were to hazard a guess it's multiple monitor setup (you can see the monitor bezels) with a head mounted camera an a remote zoom controller.

Or are you just trying to promote NE ;)

Pretty cool, not a fan of the red gauges but love what he's done, awesome!

Cheers, Rob.

Hi Rob,

I don’t think our work needs introduction today,

but... still a tap on the shoulder for our work there for sure, B)

NE is second fiddle there; it’s the setup he has going there; if you brows his YouTube channel;

you will see more video's from him; his cockpit is just done so well :Applause: :Applause: :Applause:

(i do find the red gouges bit distracting too; but I’m not familiar with the P47 panel in real life)

I’m really impressed knowing this is in someone’s house; not a commercial institute,

you’re right through;

I’ve watched his other video's on his channel; specifically his setup in a lit room,

he has pretty neat setup going there; The way it all comes together for him; is stunning,

especially when he does these night flight; you almost can’t detect flaws(monitor joints); as you would in the day time

The first video I watched from him; I was so confused; I had to shoot him a pm to find out what’s going on there;

Very nice guy! With a really neat set up; and a dedication you don’t see every day,

inspiring for me,

this is one of the top three home built cockpits I’ve seen (hint Gerard… :wink: )
