100s of strange files on C Drive

Recommended Posts

Don't know if this the right forum for this as not sure it is an OS problem. I have noticed that I have literally hundreds of agn and bmp files on my C-drive (my primary and only hard drive).  They are not in a sub-folder, they are right at the C-drive first level. They are taking up several gbytes of space it looks like. Some of these files have names like "FTXG_Tramroad_Single_HW....bmp" suggesting it is an ORBX FTX Global scenery files, but most just have number names like "065b2lm1.bmp, 065b2lm2.bmp..." etc and "065b2an1.agn..."  I am wondering if when I installed ORBX Global and checked the option to make a backup of my P3D default textures, they were put here. If that's what they are I don't ever plan to go back to default textures and I would just like to delete them to free up a few GB's of space. But if they are being called and used by a program, presumedly P3Dv3, then I don't want to delete them.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks

Mike
