No red LED figures in default Cessna after fresh install

Recommended Posts

HI,

recently i have had to do a fresh re-install of FS9, Before re-installing, I made sure that everything was deleted in the FS root dir and also in the c:\User\Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft\FS9 folder.

When starting up FS9 the default cessna has no red LED figures in the Radio stack or Autopilot, The avionics are on. FS9 has been updated to FS9.1

I am using Win7 64bit Home edition.

can anyone help?

regards, Mark

Hi Mark.

The numbers and letters are nothing more technical than a particular font. There's a handful of them that should be installed with the rest of FS9 when you do a clean install. I guess they weren't installed or that they went to the wrong folder. You may be able to find them by searching the installation discs.

Unhelpfully, I'm at work and can't recall what they're called beyond 'something'.ttf... I don't know where they should be installed in Win 7 (still using XP). Hopefully someone here will be at their gaming PC and will be able to supply the details.

Cheers,

Dave
