Spot View Zoom Level?

I usually use 0.6 or 0.7 zoom when in outside spot view.  If I switch between outside and VC views more than two or three time, the spot zoom level resorts to default 1.00, which is waaaay to much for my monitor.

 

This the first time I've experienced this.

 

Any ideas?
