I have to vent my frustration.

I think it was about 7 hours ago now. 8,000nm from WSSS to KLAX in the A340-500. Soo cool (you need to know the history of the 2000 flight). Normal rate. Live ATC from IVAO (actually where i was noone else would want to go so it wasnt there but inderstandable). 1,000nm from KLAX and all going well. 99knt tailwind at FL410 (odd I know). BANG. CTD. 12 hours and not a problem then 1000nm left and it does that to me. I use autosave so reloaded and refiled with IVAO. All worked fine on the PSS Panel merge for the first part of the flight but after CTD ....! None of the main gauges (PFD etc) would work. I know been though the techie thing and I dont care why now. 1000nm using that tiny VOR thing you usually ignore (u know that one too snall to read) on the middle of the panel. Autopilot/FMC did some weird stuff. FMC would only give me data not fly the airplane and A/P declared new FL from time to time causing nose up for vertical climb (I'm talkin Space Shuttle and no i didn't touch anything :-) ) - stalled of course, 4 times. Last stall dropped from FL410 to FL 280 I think never been that bad before looked like a disaster movie.I made it to KLAX of course. Went through the usual UNICOM announcements. Landed tnen hello from CTR ATC who came online just before I landed. Oh well, thats life!Andrew Brownhttp://www.gordiusfs.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/
