Altimeter is set incorrectly

Can someone please help me to fix this problem.Whenever I call up any weather I start to get a flying tip that tells me my altimeter is set incorrectly and to press B which I do but it just keeps coming up every 30 seconds.I have de-selected the flying tips in the optionssettings but it still comes up.Is there a way to be rid of the wretched thing.Many thanks in advance to anyone that can help me with this.regardsRichard

Above 18,000 feet set 29.92, not the local pressure. The clue is the terminology `Flight Level` is not the same thing as `altitude` which is what you'll find below 18k.Allcott
