September 9, 200520 yr Hi FolksI have recently re-installed FS 2004. On start up, I get a message......."! aircraft initiation failed Beechcraft Bonanza."I performed a custom full install, instead of express install. I wonder if that could be the cause.Any suggestions would be appreciated. Regards:-)
September 10, 200520 yr Author I think this usually occurs when you have a saved flight looking for an aircraft you don't have installed. As far as I'm aware, the Bonanza isn't one of the FS default aircraft, so before your re-install, did you have a Bonanza which you downloaded or bought? If so, re-install it, if you can't or don't want to do that, you'll have to find the saved flight that is looking for it and delete it.Saved flights are in the Flights directory within Flight Simulator 9, but be careful because many add-ons come with training flights etc which you'll lose if you just delete the wrong ones.
September 10, 200520 yr Good morning. I got the "beast," going again. I found the offending file that was referred to and deleted it. FS 2004 started with no problems and I didn't need to install it again. Thank you for your response.Regards:-)
