December 22, 201510 yr Dear Pilots, I installed Linda the latest version correctly and I start it from the folder modules. My Saitek x-55 was detected and I assigned the buttons, after clicking the save button it shows me a red 'ok!'.On the top the 'FSX logo' is not available, it is in grey and not coloured as it has to be. means it is not active and i am not able to sync my x55 settings with the FSX as well the red ok after saving... I really don't know what to do and I am asking you here for your kind help.Thank you and marry christmas.
December 22, 201510 yr Welcome to LINDA. The FSX Sync button remains greyed out until you have FSX running. When pressed it will display the currently loaded aircraft. December 22, 201510 yr Author my fsx was running parallel to linda. ok as I understood that this button load only the aircrafts. my question now is why it doesn't upload the buttons i saved and why it shows me the red ok after saving. it is like i didn't upload any buttons into fsx! thanks
December 22, 201510 yr OK with FSX running with LINDA, I need to ask whether you have a fully licensed version of FSUIPC4 installed. The FSX Sync button ensures that LINDA loads the joystick assignments saved for a particular aircraft. LINDA has 2 key folders /linda and /linda-cfg located in the FSX modules folder. The linda folder contains the action modules for the installed aircraft which contains functions that you can assign to various buttons. The assigned buttons are saved in the folder /linda-cfg for the selected aircraft. For each aircraft a file config-hid.lua is used to store the programmed assignments. This is the file that is loaded when a new aircraft is loaded and sync'ed with LINDA. Search for the config-hid.lua, open it in Notepad and see that it contains the buttons you believe you have saved. To help me diagnose you problem please do the following. Open the LINDA Console and click on Restart Lua Engine. The cut and paste the text console and email to me at [email protected].
