September 13, 200520 yr Is there a way to change the range the you can tune an airport in FS9? I find that I cannot tune the airport I am going to (usually always big ones) until I an 15-20 miles away. (Sometimes I am 5-6 miles out) Seems I should be able to pick them up around the 35-45 mile mark at least. Always get nothing but three or four screens of tiny little fields. Thanks.Regards, Joe
September 13, 200520 yr Are you talking about the little "Select An Airport" list? If that's the case, just get the tower freq before hand and tune it in manually. Though I've never in the real world contacted a tower further out than about 15 miles.----------------------------------------------------------------John MorganReal World: KGEG, UND Aerospace Spokane Satillite, Private ASEL 141.2 hrs, 314 landings, 46 inst. apprs.Virtual: MSFS 2004"There is a feeling about an airport that no other piece of ground can have.
