P3Dv3 or P3Dv3.1

I thought I had successfully made the upgrade prepared v3 to V3.1

Now I am confused when in  the Help- About- Lockheed Martin Prepare D

I see following

Prepar3D v3 Academic (where I expected v3.1 )

Prepar3D Version  3.0.10.14945

SimConnect Version 3.0.0.0

Can someone tell me which version I have now

It would appear you are (still) running on v3.0.

The full version number for v3.1 is "3.1.2.15831"

Thx Greg

I reinstalled again Prepar3D_v3_Academic_3.1.2.15831  and Prepar3D_v3_SDK_Setup_3.1.2.15831

At the end I receive a message that the installation was succesful   but in the help from the Flight Simulator I still see the v3

At the end of the installation there was also a text saying something about  redist I dont know what the mean

Have I make other setups there

René

When upgrading P3D from v3.0 to v3.1, the Lockheed Martin recommended method should be followed.

I do not believe P3D v3.1 supports upgrading the platform by simply installing the new version on top of the old version. Be certain you are uninstalling the v3.0 "Prepar3D v3 Academic Client" from Add/Remove Programs area of Windows. Then you can go ahead and install the new v3.1 "Prepar3D Academic Client" associated with the update. Chances are this will fix your version issues.

I'm not quite sure what the message was about the redist, as I don't recall seeing that when I updated from v3.0 to v3.1.
