Hi there,Steve Greenwood best describes the different options on his website: http://www.fs-traveler.com/tips-g.shtmlBTW, I'm still using the high-res freeware Japan mesh scenery available on this website: http://members.at.infoseek.co.jp/fsclubnet/index.html Mesh from "standard" topographic data are usually superior in quality to those made from Shuttle Radar SRTM data. However, I haven't comapred the two files so cannot make a specific statement about the differences in quality, if any. Cheers, Holger
