February 15, 201610 yr Hey guys, I have an issue with the Carenado Cessna 172N. I love it a lot, but there is an annoying issue where the analog hand on the altimeter always reads about 50 to 100 ft too high compared to altitude that reads when I "mouseover" the altimeter. The mouseover appears to be the correct altitude, while the large hand is incorrect and a bit too high. Does anyone have any idea why this might be the case, and is the problem correctable by editing a file? I am using FSX-SE.I could figure out how to attach screenshots if I am not being very descriptive. Thanks.- John

February 16, 201610 yr Author Setting the altimeter isn't the issue. The mouseover and the analog reading on the altimeter don't match. The mouseover is correct, and the analog hand is wrong. Which is to say the analog altimeter in the 172N is inaccurate. I've linked an image to show the problem. You will note that the hand reads much higher. By about 50 feet or so. http://tinyurl.com/jmpmqnc
