Carenado 172N Steering Linearity

I'm having this strange problem with Carenado's cessna 172. Whenever I steer left/righ in flight the steering is very slow at the start, but gets quicker near the end causing me to always correct when I'm on approach because the steering is too slow on slow movements of my stick. Is this normal?

I'm experiencing this only in the stock cessna and Carenado's one but not any other planes I own. I also have my steering sensitivity set too the full right per advice of this thread.
