Not likely. It depends on your CPU speed, and more importantly the 'type' of RAM was in your old and new computers. Ie, PC2100, PC2700, PC133, ect.

SDRAM and DDRAM are definately not interchangable, nor should they be used together if you are lucky enough to have a board with slots for both types (EG : K7S5A). Use either one type or the other.Dave
