FSInn install in FSX Windows 10 comdlg32.ocx error

Featured Replies

OS Windows 10 latest update.
FSX Acceleration (Gold)

I installed FSInn (Ran as administrator) in the folder C:\FSX Add-Ons\FSFDT using the guide 'FSInn in 20 minutes' by Andre Koloschin (English Version 2.04).
Restarted PC.
Without Flight Simulator running I started the application once "FSInnUI.exe" as administrator from the the FSFDT application in the start menu.
Once it started I clicked on "Chat" and then closed the application.
Restarted PC once again.
On running FSX I get the message - "Component 'comdlg32.ocx' or one of it's dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid".
Ignored this and opened FSCopilot from within the Addon menu in FSX. FSCopilot loaded but took about 2 to 3 minutes to display. On trying to use the SET button on the FSCopilot display I then got the message ' Failed to create FSCopiltFSInn settings (CWNDF98MAIN=ad56e24)'.
COMDLG32.ocx is present in C:\Windows\SysWOW64.
I then opened a cmd prompt and entered the following string :-
C:\WINDOWS\system32>CD C:\Windows\SysWOW64
Enter
C:\Windows\SysWOW64>Regsvr32 COMDLG32.ocx
Enter
C:\Windows\SysWOW64>
I got the message - "DllRegisterServer in comdlg32.ocx succeeded"
Restarted PC.
Ran FSX but again I got the same message - "Component 'comdlg32.ocx' or one of it's dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid".
Addon menu in FSX shows - Ifly737, FSCopilot, Instant Scenery and FSUIPC.

Any help would be appreciated as I am totally confused.
