Avatar does not work

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

Relatively recently, I got the updated Prepar3d v3.

However, I noticed very early on that my Avatar feature was not working. At first, I thought I was just doing something wrong, and I decided to worry about it after setting up my third party addons.

Now, I realize that something may be wrong. Even though I have the Avatar feature enabled under Settings, I still cannot exit any aircraft with Ctrl-Shift-E (and yes, I also verified under key mapping that this was the command).

Furthermore, when I'm in the aircraft selection screen, each aircraft has a message near the top that reads "No Avatar objects found."

Yet, when I look under SimObjects--Avatar--Civillian_Male_WhiteShirt_BlueJeans, all the appropriate files are there. I even have a second Avatar model that came with the Aerosoft A320/A321 addon, yet neither seems to work.

Does anyone have a solution to this? I'd really like to avoid a clean reinstall if at all possible. I got this version of Prepar3d relatively recently, and finally got all my third party addons setup the way I like them. I do recall an earlier version of Prepar3d not giving me this same problem though. I recall a while back being able to walk around.

I appreciate any help. Thanks!
