Jeeze. How long can we even expect to wait for that?

VR still broken in 2024?
Are there still no plans for them to fix the EFB in VR anytime soon? You can't move, resize, or interact with it in any way still. Unless you use the built in virtual cockpit tablet, like in the 172, but not all planes have these.

Crashing into invisible walls during takeoff/approach
I agree crash detection is a joke, but sometimes it's nice to have when you want to know if you just made an especially hard landing or a crash landing. Especially since I use Prepar3d in conjunction with FSPassengers (mostly for airliners), and I'd like for there to be the negative consequences associated with having an actual crash. Might changing mesh resolution help at all? Or maybe there is some way to ignore object collisions by editing a config file? Alex D.

Crashing into invisible walls during takeoff/approach
Has anyone had this kind of problem? I noticed it taking off from one runway at Midway (I forget the runway, but it was facing the Chicago skyline), and when on approach to 7L at Daytona Beach. Even though I'm well above the tree line and other autogen elements, I every so often "crash" into what I assume is an invisible wall protruding upwards from those objects. I don't remember it being so pronounced with FSX.

Problems with PMDG 737 with Prepar3d v3
Thanks for the input all. I didn't mean to give off the impression that I'm one of those people's who throws aside the documentation and starts complaining about things  I still could not find any mention of the "aircraft select" causing a fatal error, but I take your word for it. As long as it's a known issue, it does not bother me much, as it has not happened when I try to switch over to a default aircraft. My issue with FSUIPC is that I actually didn't purchase the full key. Once I did so, I was able to assign an autopilot command just fine. I also corrected my trim issue. To one of the posters above, I don't really like to disable crash detection. Yes, it's unrealistic, but it's pretty much the only way I can differentiate between a landing and a crash landing (especially since I use these planes in conjunction with FSPassengers). Any future posts I make on here I will be sure to include my full name in the signature. Thanks.

Problems with PMDG 737 with Prepar3d v3
Neither extracting the UIAutomationCore.dll to the Prepar3d folder nor adding AlwaysFullLoad=1 to the Prepar3d config file seemed to resolve the issue. I still get fatal error pop up boxes when I attempt to switch aircraft. As to your second question, I assigned joystick controls through Prepar3d. As far as I can tell, I have installed FSUIPC, but I'm not exactly sure how to open it and make control adjustments to be perfectly honest with you. I will check the FMC and hydraulics tomorrow.

Problems with PMDG 737 with Prepar3d v3
I decided to finally invest in this product, as I have been eyeing it for a while. I have no regrets, but a few frustrations at the moment. First and foremost, my main concern are crash to desktops that have started occurring since I installed the PMDG 737 for Prepar3d v3... and I do want to be clear that these CTDs have only been starting since I installed the aircraft. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but still have the same issue. The aircraft itself seems to work fine (looks very nice by the way), and I did some short circuits around the airport. However, the CTDs seem to occur primarily when I try to switch from one PMDG aircraft to another. It also seemed to happen one time when I crashed the aircraft into the ground. I do believe seeing at least one "fatal error" message box. My second issue is with my joystick assignments, specifically in regard to the autopilot master on/off switch and the small dial I use as elevator trim. The button on my joystick that I have assigned to the autopilot master switch only seems to work when it comes to disengaging the autopilot, but not for engaging. What's weird is that hitting the "Z" key seems to be able to do both just fine. Secondly, the dial I have used to adjust elevator trim seems to result in little to no input to the trim wheel in the VC. All the avionics are running too, it's not cold and dark. Granted, this may have to do with my ignorance on the actual 737's systems... maybe I need to flick a "trim" switch somewhere. Anyways, any input on this would be greatly appreciated!

Avatar does not work
Disregard! Issue appears to be resolved. "Avatar" was for some reason missing from my Prepar3d config file. The info from this post pointed me in the right direction, if anyone else has a similar problem: http://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=116726

Avatar does not work
Hi everyone, Relatively recently, I got the updated Prepar3d v3. However, I noticed very early on that my Avatar feature was not working. At first, I thought I was just doing something wrong, and I decided to worry about it after setting up my third party addons. Now, I realize that something may be wrong. Even though I have the Avatar feature enabled under Settings, I still cannot exit any aircraft with Ctrl-Shift-E (and yes, I also verified under key mapping that this was the command). Furthermore, when I'm in the aircraft selection screen, each aircraft has a message near the top that reads "No Avatar objects found." Yet, when I look under SimObjects--Avatar--Civillian_Male_WhiteShirt_BlueJeans, all the appropriate files are there. I even have a second Avatar model that came with the Aerosoft A320/A321 addon, yet neither seems to work. Does anyone have a solution to this? I'd really like to avoid a clean reinstall if at all possible. I got this version of Prepar3d relatively recently, and finally got all my third party addons setup the way I like them. I do recall an earlier version of Prepar3d not giving me this same problem though. I recall a while back being able to walk around. I appreciate any help. Thanks!

Bridges/Other Specific Structures Look Bad Up High
Thanks, that should be an acceptable workaround until this gets resolved.

Bridges/Other Specific Structures Look Bad Up High
Thank you for the quick reply. Yes, I don't believe ORBX has anything to do with this, as I disabled that temporarily and still had the issue. The link you posted though. It seems to redirect back to this thread. To clarify though, is this an issue that every has? I know someone else with Prepar3d, and while they have this issue as well, it's much more subtle. On my computer, it really stands out.

Bridges/Other Specific Structures Look Bad Up High
This is something I've only noticed recently. I got ORBX recently, but I cannot say with absolute certainty if this issue began since installing that, or if it was in fact always there. Basically, when I fly up high (typically at least 25,000 feet or so), I start to notice that bridges and other certain structures look distorted. It's almost like I'm seeing the pillars that extend into the ground get stretched. It's very hard to explain, so I've included a screenshot below. Again, this only happens up high. When I get lower, the structures end up looking normal. Anyone got any ideas why this might be happening? Thanks! PS: If the image is too large, let me know, or maybe an admin can fix it? I wasn't sure how to make it smaller.

Port Flight Acon A5 to P3D/FSX?
I'm guessing this is impossible, but is there any way to port over the Microsoft Flight Icon A5 into Prepar3d or FSX? It's such a nice model, and it would be nice to be able to fly it outside of Hawaii.
