Hi posting this here in p3d as it's what I've been usong, but I think it applies to my fsx as well..

 

Have among other addons, REX 4TD + Soft clouds.

 

Installed textires, etc, and while the low level clouds look great, I can't help but notice that the higher level clouds all seem "streched"...

 

Is this normal or am I doing something wrong..?

Thanks for the info, I will try some other location and see, or post a screenshot. I was thinking if something did not get installed and those higher level ones were default or something...

So I just tried at the equator (Quito) and it looked a bit better but still. For reference, here is the default P3D location. One is a typical zoon I use and the other is at 1.0x
