Hi

I have not heard of the XBox controller being used with FSX or LINDA. However, if it behaves like a joystick then there is no reason why not. Can you post screenshots of the Joystick Setup page and the Joysticks page for the XBox controller?

hi thanks for the reply have been doing more testing . i think that on the linda joysticks page that only one point of view hat button is being registered when pressed .the device in windows controller properties is showing and working correctly, and shows and works ok in game in fsuipc . I have a Saitek cyborg pad and that works ok in linda . the windows controller properties list and show both devices the same with point of view hat.

Thank you for the screenshots. Things look correct. LINDA is not at its best when handling HATS (POV). There is a decode problem with the third-party HID software used switch is supposed to translate the eight-position HAT position into an clock angle (e.g. 0 for button 1 to 180 for button 6). Even the CH HATS require a special translation and I have been unable to decode button 8. I use the FSX HAT/POV option for my simulator flying - it is more reliable and faster operating. Without getting my hands on a Xbox controller, I can offer you no solution to what you wish to do.
