October 16, 200520 yr Is this scenery worth it? Im thinking of buying but want to get some other opinions before I shell out 35 dollars. Also, does anyone have any screenshots of it at night? Thats something that interests me. Do the new lights appear in ever city or is just in select ones? Thanks
October 16, 200520 yr I wholeheartedly agree with Steve. This is one of those must have add-ons for FS9 if you fly in the US.
October 16, 200520 yr I really like the USA and the Canada/Alaska Ultimate Terrain packs. The night-lighting can improve dusk a lot!AK , Nomehttp://www.the-airfield.com/aaaa_misc/USA_...DHL_smaller.jpgIL, Chicagohttp://www.the-airfield.com/aaaa_misc/USA_.../YAFSS_CHI1.jpgChicago ... daytimehttp://www.the-airfield.com/screenshot_gal...008_smaller.jpgFL , Naples ... coastal detailshttp://www.the-airfield.com/aaaa_misc/USA_...les_smaller.jpgNY, New York areahttp://www.the-airfield.com/aaaa_misc/USA_...s/YAFSS_NY3.jpgNight lighting appears in even small places. There can be some little quibbles with some lights being high off the ground. If your terrain mesh isnt the same resolution as the designers had in mind you can see some lights a bit high from ground level. I consider these little issues to be small compared to how the lighting looks from the air.
October 16, 200520 yr Thanks a lot guys! Im downloading it right now. Will post a screenshot when its done installing in a sec.

October 16, 200520 yr Now if you really want to crank it up a bunch, get the FS Genisis 38 mesh for the US. You won't believe how good UT looks with that mesh underneath.http://portal.fsgenesis.net/
October 16, 200520 yr Well I have it installed and its great! I do having the floating lights though. Ive been looking to get a new monitor so If you guys can give me any reccomendations for a good, 17' LCD that would be great also.
October 17, 200520 yr Do you mind me asking what UT options you have enabled in your nighttime shots? They look phenomenal, but I have not been able to recreate that look in UT.
