Only works in one folder, not in another

hello, my ASN loads the weather when i open FSX in the following directory

C:​\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX

but will not open where the 2nd copy of the game is located

C:\FSX

also when I first installed ASN I did it in the C:\FSX folder and then did it again because it poped up again, please help
