October 27, 200520 yr I have found that sometimes I am able to perform and engine start with no problem, and sometimes using the exact same procude, I get nothing. What gives? As I understand, all that is necessary for an engine start is ground power connected, battery on, switch #76 and #77 on, fuel pumps all on (whether there is fuel in all the tanks or not), and then just used the start switches on the overhead, hold the switch for about20025 seconds, and then fuel switch to engine turned on, thats it! Sometimes this works for me, but other times it dosen't. Anyone have any clue what I'm doing wrong? Thanks.
