AI Parking Utility

Featured Replies

Hi GuysJust wondering if anyone has heard of a utility that will allow you to free up some parking at an airport as you are on final, or after you land (prior to requesting taxi to gate)?Since many airports don't have enough "heavy" gate spots, most of the time I fly into an airport with a 747, I end up getting routed to GA parking, or a cargo ramp.It would be nice to force the AI aircraft out of the "heavy" gates spots so that that there is always a gate spot for you. I know that "AI Smooth" exists to help with the approach traffic, perhaps someone can find a way to use similar programming to free up gates.I have used the AFCAD editor, but I don't have time to edit each airport I intend to fly to.Just a wish...Thanks,JohnP.S. I use ProjectAI for my AI A/C.

The only thing I know of with the ability to remove an active AI aircraft is the Explorer utility from the TrafficToolBox.dll available from the TrafficToolBox SDK on the Microsoft FS site - http://www.microsoft.com/games/flightsimul...sdk.asp#trafficIt will not automatically free up gates - it will allow you to select and delete individual AI aircraft.Do remember that the ATC message "Taxi to general aviation parking" is based on the name of parking spot - not it's type, location or parking codes. This will include heavy gates if they are marked "Parking" as many people setup Cargo and Overflow parking.Of course you know parking codes do not work for the aircraft you are flying.
