From time to time, I like flying the Ryan: she is quite challenging and after a not too bad start and landing I get a nice "ego" feeling. However overall the periscope is only usable in 2D. Regrettable in 3D, the only thing I see with the periscope is the air, so I fly in 3D, but short before the landing I switch to 2D (or else I have absolute no sight at the runway; it should be possible to come in an angle to the runway, but with the Ryan is also not too easy to make a quick turn). My question is: is there a way to use the periscope also in 3D (especially during the landing)?wvannes

Yes, you can use the periscope in virtual cockpit mode but you will need to adjust your eyepoint. I would recommend getting Active Camera whcich lets you define 10 preset views per aircraft and comes with preset views (that you can change) for all default FS AC.Bud
