I would like to recognize and commend the people who make up the staff, membership, and visitors of the AVSIM community for their civility, humanity, and direct appreciation of our fellow man in the manner in which the recent elections have been, essentially, ignored here. And that is as it should be.On some if not most forums for other applications this past election has been a bitter and sometimes verbally violent affair with all manner of blistering, seething attacks on personal integrity and, if it were possible, personal being you can be sure.The simming community, especially the AVSIM fellowship, have stuck to their purpose, respected the privacy and integrity of others, and shown just how decent and caring Americans, their political rivals, and their foreign allies are in real life.My hat is off to all of us.
