Rex td and blurries - fsx

Hi all,

 

Recently installed Rex texture direct for my fsx. Loaded in a theme and immediately noticed blurring ground textures that I hadn't had before.

 

I had backed up my original files so I restored them but the blurries remain. Does Rex make any changes to other things such as configs etc that I have not considered? Does backing up to original completely remove any Rex influence? I'm. Convinced it's Rex that is causing this.
