Getting rid of the red glow in Carenados great C182

Featured Replies

I enjoy the Cessna 182 from Carenado, but at night I dislike the red glow that appears. Is there any way to link the red glow to something like the taxi light so I can just have the gauges illuminated? Thanks

In 2D or 3D, Al?I don't have the aircraft, so I can't help ... but you should be able to alter that in the PANEL.CFG if you wish to.MarkMark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cathayhk.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/maamlogo2.jpg[/a]

oops my mistake, its in the VC. Ive tried changing the number associated with the lighting but that doesnt work

If it's in the VC, it's a 'light' setting in the AIRCRAFT.CFG.Identify which one it is (probably has VC in the name of the file) and then dig in your effects library for alternatives! Or try altering the file yourself, perhaps.MarkMark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cathayhk.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/maamlogo2.jpg[/a]

thanks for the help, it was actually a texture file in the aircraft folder itself that had the red glow. I just used my mad painting skillz to black all the red out
