really silly question but is there any way when I load the flight sim 2004.. it loads right on the runway or taxiway.. is there anyway when flight sim loads that I could just load the main screen without loading into the actual flight right away..?

Not so silly - What I would do is refer to this FSInsider FAQ page, and look at BYPASS THE FS2004 SPLASH SCREEN - just change that value to a zero in the fs9.cfg. Easy. :)http://fsinsider.com/support/tweaks_faq.htmOwen
