December 10, 20169 yr I was just wondering how well the 747 reacts to extreme temperatures? I know that PMDG aircraft respond accordingly to temperature variations in terms of performance, but how will temperature affect some of the finer details? For example, sometimes in real aircraft, cold components such as gyros, gauges, actuators, etc., that have been cold-soaked for extended periods of time, may function slower than normal until reaching operating temperatures. Because of this, instrument flags may take longer than normal to retract. Are details such as this modeled in the 747v3?
