Wow, I was landing in central France in my C310. Noticed that the VSI started going wild. Then noticed the air speed indicator was low. Heard a low tone in the background. Holy cow, I'am stalling. Pushed the throttles to the max. Hardest thing to do was push the nose down that low to the ground. Made it though.WhewJimCYWG

Sounds like you were in or near a thunderstorm. Winds can be very nasty around that area and drop your airspeed to zero. It happened to me as well a while ago. Therefore better stay on ground while TS occure.Rodger

write that horn up--if the first thing you notice is vertical speed, you're dead;-)
