Those of you who develop software will appreciate this email one of my programmers forwarded to me. It often rings true, at least in my shop and I suspect it rings true our hobby as well when those new add-on projects go through their due diligence:~ A Client is a person who knows that it takes a man, a woman & nine months to deliver a baby. ~ A Developer is a person who thinks a single woman cannot deliver a baby in nine months. ~ A Project Manager is a person who thinks nine women can deliver a baby in one month. ~ An Onsite Coordinator is a person who thinks a single woman can deliver nine babies in one month. ~ A Marketing manager is a person who thinks I can deliver a child whether a man and woman is available or not. ~ A Resource optimization team thinks I don't need a man or woman, and I'll still produce a child with zero resources. ~ A Documentation team will think I don't care how a child is delivered, I'll just document 9 months.
