QSimPlanner nav data folder

Recommended Posts

Anyone using QSimPlanner? I was looking for an alternative to TOPCAT because I fly for United Virtual so there's a lot of 739 operation involved but TOPCAT doesn't support the -900. Also, I'm not sure if I trust TOPCAT's takeoff calculations for the -800, they seem a bit off...

I found QSimPlanner and it seems to be a very good tool. I just don't have any idea how to add the navdata folder. It says I can use Navigraph's FMS Data but what folder do I select?

In the portable version, go to the preference folder and open the options.xml file. Then paste the location of your AIRAC in between the two headings that say database path.

<DatabasePath>C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\FSX\aerosoft\Airbus_Fallback\NavDataPro</DatabasePath>

It should look something like this.
