February 4, 20179 yr Hello ! I tried to make a repaint for the Queen of the Skies II, the old Corsairfly livery : But as you can see, the windows are not transparent. To make it, I use Adobe Photoshop, with the official paintkit. After painting, I flat the image, and cut the three parts. I do a quick export and mirror vertical effect. After, I use DTXBmp and export the textures in DTX5 format. Sorry if the english is not good, I m french and it's a very specific vocabulary. Thank you and congratulations to PMDG for this amazing work ; @+ Lucky
February 4, 20179 yr If you're using adobe photoshop, get the nVidia dds plugin. This will allow you to save without needing to use DXT. The issue is the alpha channel is most likely gone, or plain white. The alpha channel has black windows, this is what makes them transparent.
